About

Background

I come from a family of newspaper-clipping, letter-writing activists; of common-sensical, equity-minded lawyers and judges; and of unassuming but profoundly talented artists and writers.

My mom spent afternoons during my childhood years penning requests to politicians, and late nights at her lamp-lit Bernina sewing machine. My dad worked long days word-smithing legal briefs, and weekends fiddling with his acoustic and watercolors. My grandmothers quilted, gardened, and cooked (mmm). My dad’s father never fully retired from his judicial seat in the courtroom for the love of the job.

Whether in art or business, all my family’s work has been craft.

I’m scrappy, solutions-oriented, energetic, and an eager learner.

When it comes to graphic design: I construct high-level design strategy alongside an understanding of on-the-ground process and production. I relish in helping zealous, purpose-driven brands express the goodness and value of what they have to offer.

And in florals: I love finding ways to make flowers a part of our everyday for every person. And then a step beyond, to harness the power of flowers for good—to support small farms, to foster better care for the environment, to encourage more conscientious buying and selling.

As a whole, there is nothing I love more than fighting towards clarity and uncovering beauty in our everyday lives.

I love what I get to do.
